About Illest founder

Illest founder, Mark Arcenal, is a sneakerhead and a legend in the car culture scene.

He started Fatlace in 1999 – a blog that feature the newest and coolest sneakers and cars around. He then launched his apparel brand Illest, which is slang for “The Best,” taking inspiration from his never-ending search for the pinnacle in footwear and car customization.

Illest has since then become the most recognizable streetwear brand among car enthusiasts and sneakerheads.
Illest enjoys the same cred among people in the sneakerhead community and car culture, while steadily gaining traction in sports and other fields where people aim to be nothing but the best.

In terms of the quality of the product itself, Illest is primarily known for breathable crewnecks that feature simple graphic hits. Other collections include headwear and cut-and-sew garments like shirting and bottoms.

The brand has become one of the most sought-after brands that cater to an audience looking for more than just a label. Illest a lifestyle.
